I developed Nevada Brain Health PLLC to offer an affordable option to patients actively seeking ways to improve and optimize their health. Although I take a functional and integrative approach to health issues, Nevada Brain Health PLLC is not a full-scope Functional Medicine clinic. We offer targeted testing with an emphasis on nutritional and lifestyle interventions.
At this time, I only see patients ages 12-60. Telehealth visits are available for patients residing in Nevada. I hope to be able to extend the age range in the future.
No. If you are not currently residing in Nevada, you are unable to be a patient of Nevada Brain Health PLLC. I am licensed to practice advanced practice nursing in Nevada only and not across state lines.
I do not take insurance; however, I will provide a "superbill" with appropriate billing codes that you can submit to your commercial insurance for possible out of network benefits. You can check with your employer to see if HSA funds or flex spending accounts can be put toward Nevada Brain Health PLLC expenses.
You will be provided a good faith estimate of expected lab costs at your initial appointment. The goal is to keep costs affordable and to order only necessary lab work, when appropriate. Most labs can be completed through Labcorp. Some specialized testing may be completed with home testing kits. I do not upcharge for any labs and can provide a lab discount by billing you directly instead of through a 3rd party vendor. Prices are subject to change and lab recommendations are always individualized to the patient and presenting symptoms/medical history.
Yes you need to continue to maintain your relationships with your primary care provider and specialists. I do not serve as your PCP. I am an addition to your medical team, not a replacement for your current medical providers. I am happy to collaborate with your primary care provider or specialist. I do not make adjustments to medications currently prescribed to you by your health care team but will make recommendations and collaborate with your prescribing provider. I require all clients to disclose all members of their health care team and sign release forms to allow me to communicate with each of them to safely coordinate clinical care if needed.

Step 1: Initial telehealth consultation appointment (In person visits coming soon!)
Before your appointment, you will be sent a link to enter our Patient Portal to complete an intake questionnaire and submit it to the clinic at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. During your 45-60 minute consultation, you will be asked about your health history, lifestyle, genetics, symptoms, and more.
Step 2: Lab testing and analysis
After the initial consult is completed, you will receive a copy of lab recommendations and a good faith estimate of lab costs. Lab testing recommendations will be based on your current symptoms, active diagnoses, and prior medical history.
Step 3: Analyzing results and creating your personalized care plan
During your follow-up telehealth visit, we discuss your initial test results in detail and treatment plan recommendations.
Step 4: Follow-up appointments and lab monitoring as needed or required
If there are underlying nutrient deficiencies and/or gut dysregulation in can take 2-3 months of supplementation and implementation of a gut restoration protocol to feel a change and see a change in labwork. Some clients who are addressing basic nutrient deficiences and gut dysregulation will only require 3-4 visits in the first year for follow up lab testing and adjustments. This is ideal but every client will be different depending on diagnosis and treatments.
I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. You can cancel or reschedule your appointment right from your appointment confirmation email. You can also send a message via email to info@nevadabrainhealth.com or call 702-659-5095. If prior notification is not given, you will be charged 100% of the scheduled consultation fee.
Yes I offer both telehealth and in person appointments.
